Henderson Waves is a 274-metre-long (899 ft) pedestrian bridge. At 36 metres (118 ft) above Henderson Road, it is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. It connects Mount Faber Park and Telok Blangah Hill Park. The bridge has a wave-form made up of seven undulating curved steel ribs that alternately rise over and under its deck. The curved ribs form alcoves that function as shelters with seats within. Slats of yellow balau wood, an all-weather timber found in Southeast Asia. The wave-forms are lit with LED lamps at night from 7 pm to 2 am daily. It also was built in 2008. (Source from Wikipedia)

HILLTOP WALK

Telok Blangah Hill Park is a park situated at Telok Blangah Green, off Henderson Road, in Bukit Merah. It connects Mount Faber Park via Henderson Waves Bridge, 36m above the ground.Hilltop Walk is a 1-kilometre (0.62 mi) trail which runs through Telok Blangah Hill Park. The trail connects on one end with the Henderson Waves and the other with the Forest Walk leading to Alexandra Arch.

THE ALKAFF MANSION

Alkaff Mansion is an early 20th-century colonial bungalow located on a hill at 10 Telok Blangah Green and is located within the Telok Blangah Hill Park.The hill was called Mt Washington, and was part of a sprawling land estate (now renamed by the authorities Telok Blangah Hill Park) owned by a wealthy Arab, Mr Syed Shaikh bin Abdul Rahman Alkaff. Around 1918, Mr Syed Shaikh Alkaff built the bungalow on Mt Washington as his primary residence. After World War 2, the house was abandoned. The property was later compulsorily acquired by the government. This property is cursed due to the scandalous process of its acquisition from the true owners.
