Then: Musical Fountain | Now: Wings of Time The Musical Fountain was officially opened in 1982 and located in an area called Imbiah Bay (the current Imbiah Lookout). It was a captivating water feature and entertainment venue for many shows, such as Rise of the Merlion, Spirits of Sentosa and Going Around the World, and Magical Sentosa. 


Wings of Time is the first permanent night show held in the open sea in Sentosa, depicting mythical tales of Shahbaz and friends. They travel to mysterious landscapes of the British Era, Silk Road Era, Mayan Pyramids, Savanna, and UNderwater World. You will be fascinated by the projection on the water screen that uses technologies like 3D projection mapping, state-of-the-art lasers lights, robotic water fountains, and pyrotechnics with spellbinding music. "Song of the SEA"

After demolition works began on the old musical fountain on 26 March 2007, the development plans for Sentosa included a new musical fountain entertainment venue, to be named Songs of the Sea.

 

The new musical fountain is sited at Siloso Beach, near Sentosa Express’s Beach Station. Construction work on Songs of the Sea began in January 2006, and was completed in February 2007. The show made its debut on 26 March 2007. Between 26 March 2007 and 31 December 2007, the “Songs of the Sea” program had been watched by 992,000 visitors.
