West Coast Park is a park located at the south-westernmost corner of Queenstown in Singapore. It runs parallel to West Coast Highway. The park covers an area of roughly 50 hectares.

The facilities at the park include the Adventure Play Area, a playground equipped to cater to children of multiple age groups, barbeque pits, a campsite, and a marsh garden. In addition, the Grand Lawn, a 3 ha (7.4 acres) open space in the park, has been identified by the National Parks Board for kite flying, while the park also incorporates a McDonald’s restaurant, a dog run, and a bicycle obstacle course.

Adventure Play Area

Standing at the centre core of Area 3 is the Adventure Play Area that caters to people of different age groups, from toddlers to young adults. This is the heart and most active zone of West Coast Park.

Grand lawn for kite lovers

West Coast Park is popular among kite flying enthusiasts. Bring your kite and head to the Grand Lawn, an open space of 3 hectares, and have fun flying your kite!

Fancy spending a night out in the great outdoors? There are designated areas within West Coast Park where you can set up a tent to spend the night. To do so, you need to apply for a camping permit first. (You need to have a valid residential address in Singapore to apply for a camping permit.)

Fancy cooking your own food and eating in the great outdoors? You can hold a barbecue at West Coast Park. There are some 9 BBQ pits located Area 2.

MASH GARDEN

Take a slow walk to Marsh Garden and be amazed at its thriving biodiversity. Marsh Garden might seem quiet but it is teeming with activity and interesting creatures. Bring your binoculars to see if you can spot the White-breasted Waterhen ( Amaurornis phoenicurus ) and Striated Heron ( Butorides striata ).
